SunRocket Features:

SunRocket offers a host of services including a few advanced features that are not offered by the traditional telephone service. The best part is, subscribers can access most of the features offered by SunRocket online using the Account Manager section in the SunRocket website.

Web Managed Features:

The web-managed features include services like Enhanced Voice Mail, call blocking, call forwarding, call logs, clicks to call, Contacts, Distinctive ring, DND, Find me, International Call Blocking and much more.

Contacts:

This feature helps the customers to quickly find phone numbers, sort contacts by category, and operate Click to Call.

Distinctive Rings:

The customers are offered to choose from 4 different ring patterns to assign to any Signature Number. This will indicate which number is being dialed before answering the phone.

Do Not Disturb (DND):

This features allows the customers to reduce unwanted interruption. It prevents incoming calls from ringing through; instead the calls are directed straight to Voicemail. If voice mail is not active callers will hear an announcement stating that you are currently not accepting calls.

Find Me:

This is one of the many great features offered by SunRocket. Activating this feature allows incoming calls to "find the customer" at multiple phone numbers, one after another. If he doesn't pick up at one number, the call will move on to the next, until either the call is picked up or the call terminates at Voicemail.

Standard Features:

SunRocket standard features includes all the features that anyone would expect from a standard phone service at no extra charge. The standard features include 7-digit dialing, anonymous call rejection, call waiting, call return, caller ID with Name, Outbound caller ID blocking, three way calling and much more.

Outbound Caller ID Blocking:

This feature gives the subscriber the privilege to hide their number from being displayed on the call recipient's caller id. The caller will have to precede the number with *67 every time he wants his number not to be displayed.

Plans Offered:

SunRocket © Signature Service is offered as an Annual Edition Package or as a Monthly Edition.

Annual Edition:

The Annual Edition is available at $199/year and offers unlimited calling to U.S. and Canada and International calls worth $3/month for free. Along with this comes one extra phone number (local or a different area code number within US), two free directory assistance calls/month and more than 10 enhanced calling features. There are no activation fees, shipping charge or even cancellation fees.

Monthly Edition:

Monthly Edition of the signature service includes all the above facilities and the customers are billed at $24.95/month.

Customer Service:

SunRocket Offers customer care service through email and over telephone. Customer care is probably the department that has been most complained about in SunRocket service. It has been often opined that they are overselling there support capabilities right now, they need to hire some more technical service people, and provide further training to the ones they have already. The customer support and the sales department (that answers calls from prospective customers) are located at Philippines.

Other Details:

Though there is no cancellation fee the equipment needs to be returned (at your own cost) if cancelled within the first 31 days, however, they promise to issue a full refund of the amount charged for those 31 days. If the account is cancelled after 31 days they allow the customers to keep the "Gizmo" and the money is refunded on a pro-rated basis. There is no cancellation fee.
